21 Duel Blackjack
|
Now we would like to make you familiar with a totally unique and relatively new Blackjack variant which you’ve never seen before: it is called 21 Duel and represents the brain child of Playtech software provider. 21 Duel Blackjack can be only found in Playtech-powered online casinos, but , please, keep in mind, that they don’t allow the US residents to play at their sites.
You really need to forget the standard rules of Blackjack while playing 21 Duel and open your mind for the new gaming rules.
Having made your first wager you will see the computer dealing 6 cards. Dealer gets two of these cards, the player gets two, generally, they’re classified as “Community cards”.
However, you are going to see just three of these cards: that is, one of your cards and both Community cards.
Now you have simply to make your hand by using your face-up card and only either of the Community cards. Having made your hand you can use 3 different options.
Two variants are possible: either playing your hand with usage of the first Community Card and further doubling of your original wager, or playing your hand with usage of the second Community Card, and once again you'll be doubling your original wager. There is also the third option: to fold your hand, which will lead to the loss of your initial wager.
Now be attentive! Having chosen playing then you can continue as it is with your initial hand or you may hit your hand which helps you to form a 3-card hand, which will lead to usage of your face down card. You can only Hit once, besides, you can't Double Down or Split your hand.
If the Dealer's hand has the total of 13 or more then he qualifies, then both hands: your and his are compared. If your hand beats the Dealer's then you'll be paid out at the odds of even money.
If the Dealer's hand is less that 13 then the Dealer won't qualify to play, so you win your original wager, but you don't win your raise bet. If the Dealer qualifies and beats the Player then all your bets are lost.
If both the Dealer and Player get a tied hand then all the wagers are returned. The Dealer should observe a preset rules set while making his hand and this is called the house way.
It's really a unique game, so if you get a chance to play a few hands then do it – it is going to entertain you! But don't forget, that you'll be able to play it online only if you're the UK or Europe resident: no US players are allowed to play at any Playtech-based online casino.
